Victoria Leatham was a consultant for Sotheby's for 25 years and was trained as a generalist appraiser. Her particular expertise lies in Eastern ceramics, but as curator of the Burghley House collection, she has interests covering a wide range. She is currently revising and cataloguing the Burghley collection and organizes regular specialist exhibitions of its treasures, both in the UK and overseas. She is a lecturer, author, trustee of Stoneleigh Abbey and the Wellington Museum and also runs her own antique reproduction mail-order business.
