Nicholas Mitchell has a broad knowledge of antiques having spent all his working life in the trade. In the course of 30 years he has been involved in almost every facet, from shop owner to auctioneer and restorer to lecturer. His areas of interest include clocks, on which he has written articles for the Antique Collector, and 19th-century furniture. He counts his involvement with the BBC's ANTIQUES ROADSHOW as one of the great learning experiences of his career.
