Edward Monagle is an associate director of Christie's fine art auctioneers. He specializes in works of art, furniture, and sports memorabilia, and his particular passion is golfing memorabilia, about which he is presently writing a book. Edward began his Christie's career 20 years ago in Glasgow, where he started on the ground floor as a salesroom porter. He has recently transferred to the company's valuation department in St. James's, London.
