Bowler family spent three months living as Victorians, and THE 1900
HOUSE chronicles their experiences in four hour-long episodes. The
television series reveals a great deal about the challenges facing
the family and the others involved (albeit less directly) in the
experiment -- from historians to engineers to the production crew.
Paul
Bacon, writer for THE 1900 HOUSE ONLINE, interviewed Simon Shaw,
Series Producer of THE 1900 HOUSE, about some of the most interesting
goings-on behind the scenes: The Rules, The Family, The House,
and Filming the Family. Also, Thirteen/WNET New York interviewed
Joyce Bowler, who reflected on her family's experience.
