Twins Ruth and Hilary, age 11, got a break from their usual routine
at Duke of York's Royal Military School in Dover, Kent. Ruth was
eager to learn more about the real history of the Victorians, and
since her stay at THE 1900 HOUSE has become greatly interested in
the turn-of-the-century suffragette movement. She especially enjoyed
pursuing her photography hobby with a vintage Brownie camera and
a Victorian fashion photo shoot with her sisters in the backyard.
