There is no greater muse for poets than love and for Isidore Elfman this
is no exception. Now retired, he spends most of his days writing
romantic poetry about his wife, Carol, to whom he has been married for
45 years. Every Sunday Carol accompanies her impassioned poet to a
local New York City cafe, where he reads his odes of devotion to her
before a captive audience.
