For Yoko Ono, an artwork can be a set of instructions that explain how to make a painting that exists only in the imagination. Art can be room in which every piece of furniture is cut in half. The Japan Society in New York City organized the first retrospective of her work, which is now touring major museums across the country. EGG meets with Yoko Ono and explores some of the ideas that inform her work.
