Roy Book Binder sought out Reverend Davis and became his protege, learning the music the old-fashioned way. Soon, "Book" set out on his own. He moved into a motor home in 1976 and has roamed the country ever since, playing for everything from theaters to small-town dives, modestly calling himself "an entertainer who plays a fair guitar." He's a modern-day troubadour of the blues, staying on the highway, "living the blues life."
