The Atlantic Theater Company, which Mamet founded 16 years ago, presented a full season of his plays in 2000. From the macho posturing of the men in "Sexual Perversity in Chicago" to Macy's portrayal of Teach in "American Buffalo," Mamet's men talk tough, but eventually reveal their vulnerability.
