Choreographer Ron Brown's "High Life" tells the story of the African
American journey from slavery to freedom -- what was gained in that
journey and what was lost. His most recent work, "Walking out the
Dark," explores isolation and the spiritual growth that comes from it.
Outstretched arms carving through space; bodies leaping and soaring
through the air; and proud, strong strides are part of Ron Brown's
dynamic dance vocabulary.
