Some of Ralph Stanley's songs are about love and longing, but songs about death are practically constant. In fact, "Oh, Death" is practically his anthem. "I think it's a comfort to people that's lost their loved one," the 76-year old singer says about his songs. "They can hear songs about death and I think it helps them get over it." EGG catches up with Stanley on his home turf as he plays with the Clinch Mountain Boys at the annual Bill Monroe Bean Blossom Festival in Bean Blossom, Indiana.
