photo EGG then focuses on three artists who use food as metaphor. Will Cotton paints gooey, creamy Candyland fantasies and comments on our appetite for excess. Laura Letinsky photographs the remains of meals -- orange peels, cookie crumbs, cherry pits and half-eaten fruits -- and explores the beauty in what's left behind. Lee Ming Wei embraces his Chinese history and celebrates the ritual of eating together -- his idea of art is having dinner with a stranger.
