Plying chain saws, drills, household irons and blow torches, competitors have 17 hours to carve 3,000 pounds of ice into a work of art. Winners are judged based on their design, technical skill and how well they manage to use every last bit of ice. EGG braves the cold, stays up all night, and meets the 2002 Olympian gold medalists representing Thailand, father and son team of Vivat and Art Hongpong.
