photo Cornerstone brings theater to communities across the country, but they don't bring a cast. Rather, the community members become performers. In Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Cornerstone guides some 60 former steel workers and their families in the creation of an original play called "Steelbound." Staged in a now-abandoned steel mill that provided jobs for many of the citizens of Bethlehem, the play helps the community come to terms with the anger and loss that resulted from the closing of the plant.
