Andy Goldsworthy uses what he finds in nature to create art. He makes site-specific sculptures from moss, stone, twigs, feathers, leaves ... temporal works, captured in a moment in time in a photograph. He has created pieces in the North Pole, Japan, the Australian outback, and his native Scotland. Currently, he is creating a piece in New York City for the Museum of Jewish Heritage, to be completed in late 2003.
