The Center for Family Life (http://www.cflsp.org) was founded in 1978 with the goal of meeting the needs of families in the beleaguered community of Sunset Park, Brooklyn. It serves all families with children under the age of 18 living in the neighborhood. The Center focuses on the family as a sustaining source of development for children and youth, and the Sunset Park community as a support for the neighborhood's families. The Center embraces a holistic approach to providing services without labeling, and individualizes each situation to address the needs of all family members.
