That might be true if the UN and the US were both promoting democracy. But since they are not, a more telling comparison would be to compare the results each is producing. Then, even if the UN budget were increased to 5.8 billion dollars a month and the UN were achieving its current results, the report would read the US spends 5.8 billion dollars per month to bring democracy to such countries as Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia, etc., the UN spends the same amount to achieve democracy nowhere. So, which organization is more efficient?");document.write(' |

Somehow, I suspect that you (Gigot and panelists) would not agree. This is clear evidence of the WSJ editorial board taking a radical turn toward a bias that accepts double standards of behavior without shame. If Kofi should resign because his son is still recieving payments without working for a company involved in fraud, then Bush should resign because Cheny is being paid by a company that has and is defrauding the American people, and undoubtedly acting in ways that have caused the deaths of Americans because of the ill will their acts have caused in Iraq and the diversion of much needed funds for providing equipment needed to protect American troops.");document.write(' |

As you may recall, efforts to provide audits, to outlaw war profiteering, and to provide greater accountability for expenditures exceeding $25 million were all defeated. As for Notre Dame firing its coach, I am no expert, but I did see most of the BC-Notre Dame game and parts of a few other ND games, and I saw fundamental coaching mistakes made each time. So I don't think Mr. Willingham was fired because he graduated his players, and I doubt if the new coach will be any less concerned about graduation rates. I have to wonder, did Dan or Paul watch a single game coached by this man, or is political correctness their only concern?");document.write(' |

If you deny my above statement, PROVE IT by posting it, instead of posting Bush-hating posts TWICE. Bush haters, (now a well established term in the English language), were paranoid long before they had to go to these voo-doo shrinks in FL to be treated for the infamous PEST syndrome, and prove it for all to see. They still are in a state of profound denial, even after two decisive Bush Truimphs in 2002 and 2004. The Rep triumph is truly of epic proportions. And the people that overwhelmingly voted to Reelect Bush and to dump Tom Dashle are NOT naive or uninformed. They appreciate the virtues of their President as a Leader of the Free World, and have punished the obstructionists (see Tom Dashle). And the more Bush haters falsely accuse the Bush family of this and that re-hashed charge, the more it makes Bush supporters determined to answer them with their votes in the next elections.
