The problem with that is that these three region's are already overstocked with every type of merchandise from A-Z. It's the same reason we don't sell oil to Saudi Arabia. That is not very good business sense. The U.S. farmer's already, for decades, has the ability to produce enough food to feed oursevles. The point I'm trying to make is African's don't need to sell to us, they do need to sell to countries that don't have irrigation water needed to produce the food in the first place, such as the arab world. I believe this would be a better agricultural market demand than the U.S. & Europe together. If this were to happen, Africa would then become a market for all the Chinese export's that we,the U.S., alway's complain about. Also, Africa,Asia & Latin America, make up 83% of the entire human race. Why would we, the 5% of mankind, want to provide for our own living standard & then have to turn around and provide the living standard for 83% of mankind? That's not smart at all. If the question is, Should a pharamcist have the right to refuse to fill a prescription against the wishes of his employer, the answer is a resounding no, with no exceptions. If the question is, Shall pharmacies be compelled by law to fill all legal prescriptions, regardless of pharmacist's viewpoint, the answer is again a resounding no, with no exceptions. This is a dreadfully simple question for those who do not fear freedom. Hogwash! During training, these pharmacists' knew that if they went into community pharmacy, they would have to fill and dispense birth control pills, morning after pills, etc. No one twisted their arm to go into community pharmacy-there are enough forms of pharmacy that a person can go into that they NEVER have to fill or dispense RX's for birth control or morning after pills (hospital pharmacy, TPN's, coumadin clinic, etc). I feel that this is a form of dicrimination against women because I haven't seen any of these so called moral individuals raise a cry against filling and dispensing Viagra, Levitra, or Cialis. I also wonder that if this is allowed to continue, does this also give medical person a right to refuse to treat a person because he/she doesn't agree with the patient's lifestyle? Does this now give pharmacists the right to refuse to dispense AIDS drugs? How about anti-virals against herpes? Where will it end? If a person's beliefs are that important to him/her, he/she will change jobs to accomodate their beliefs, not try to change the job to accomodate their beliefs.");document.write(' |

This is indeed the current problem with the Democrat Party. They have forgotten their concern with Virtue. They are trying to convince the public that there is Value in their proposed policies ergo you will benefit! Herbert Hoover could find no Value in the federal government trying to cope with the depression. Hoover really thought it would be a sin if government provided relief! Franklin Roosevelt saw the Virtue in providing Social Security. The Wall Street Journal is only concerned with Values and they are devoid of Virtue. A major Virtue for government today is how to provide health care. Not just for the elderly, but for all of its citizens. The only Value in providing health care is for the cherry picking insurance companies. If cherry picking is not permitted there is no value in providing health insurance. ever and anon Robert W Rasch 1504 Chickees Street Johnson City, TN 37604-7103 ");document.write(' |
