Thank you for this map. I really appreciate the level of detail and seeing video and images associated with each location. Really helps put their trek in perspective. And the cute cub photo is a nice bonus!

You guys really amaze me living so close to bears. We have a black bear that lives nearby in the woods but we rarely see her or him.

did you have a electric fence around your tent

How did you deal with the black flies and mosquitoes? They are horrible up there in the summer, and can drive a person crazy!

  5. Heidi says:

You had to have something for protection. What? I know they aren’t fond of loud noises I’ve chased a few Black Bears {looking for a snack] from camp banging pots and pans together. But Grizzlies especially ones with cubs would be would be a horse of a different color! You are very lucky, that would be my dream job!

    Hi Chris…

A superlative first segment Sunday evening. The HD quality was superb as were all other elements of the production! I was with you in Chuchill, eight years ago, and valued your “bear insight” then, and now even more so in this show. Congrats…best of success always.

Thanks for this beautiful film. I am especially interested in bears, particularly brown bears. After spending a few summers working in Yellowstone, I learned to respect and admire these magnificent creatures. I’m jealous!!
