Dams and power stations have ruined our silver friend on the river shannon, above the dam they only have a oneway ticket never to return again

Wonderful site, this Nature progam on Ireland's natural resources. For a remarkable poem about the salmon, see "King of the River," by the American Poet, Stanley Kunitz. It is on the web, I am sure.

Two suggestions for viewing on-line videos:
1) Allow one to view the videos using "full screen" on the computer.
2) Program sites for faster changes of sites selected. (My wife has her site "roharps." She has made it a goal for speed on her site. It works well.

Thanks,
Loren Loucks
