I watched this program like a kid in a candy store.I have only had the true enjoyment and luxery of being familar with reptiles, for about 10 yrs, after taking in an abused Iguana, knowing so little, that I didn't know how to tell the difference between males and females and caller "her" Mr. Lizzard.Since then I have rescued many Iguanas, and enjoyed every moment. At 59 and counting I plan to continue and my dream is to some day visit Komodo and see these wonderful reptiles in their natural home.Rom Whittiker should host more programs like this one. I enjoyed every single moment of this special. Thanks Rom,God Bless and keep up the good work. Much appreciated from Canada.

What a great program! It's so fantastic to see someone passionate like that. Thanks Rom. Your enthusiasm will make my next encounter with a garden snake more interesting and less scary. LOL And get a facebook page, will you? smile

I came across the show by accident...never thought reptiles of any kind would interest me but listening to Rom talk about them...the passion in his voice and his genuine excitement overwhelmed me! I found myself watching the whole show and actually wanting to see more..I am a 53 yr old female, so it just goes to show, when presented properly....anyone can catch the "bug" so to speak for "creepy crawlies".
Thanks Rom

My family and I watched this show for the first time last night, and we came away with some great insight into the world of "dragon-like" reptiles, and we LOVE Rom Whitaker. He couldn't be more likeable and his lack of pretense is so refreshing. I wish he would host more shows. He's the coolest...and has one of the coolest jobs. Please more Rom!

In watching the final sequence of the Komodo production I was surprised to learn that the e. coli in human saliva can sometimes cause blood poisoning. Does the bacteria in Komodo dragon saliva ALWAYS cause blood poisoning? Oh, and another thing: is it actually safe to keep poison arrow frogs as pets?

We saw the show today and it was awesome. My 8 & 5 year old sons really enjoyed it. The older one had decided that he wanted to be a herpetologist more than a year ago and he was really inspired. Thanks!!
