The Reptiles continues with a look at the reptiles that humans may fear most: Snakes. But the film does not portray snakes as evil creatures. Rather, it takes us into their secret and very strange world to try to understand them better.
Even though most snakes are not lethal to humans, many people are still terrified of these slithering reptiles. The program illustrates how venomous snakes bite humans only in self-defense and would much rather not confront us. Snakes also provide a valuable service by controlling the rodent population.

have you ever lost someone in your family that you can’t get over? i have i losts three people in my famliy 1 it was my ancle is name was smith he had a heartutak and the 2 famliy member i lost was my grand mother she had the some think as smith and the 3 person is my cousin he got hit by a car at 3:oo in the morning he went to go to his boss across from the road and a guy did not have his lights on and he looked to see if anything was comeing but he did not see anything so he went to go across and then he seen something but he could not make and then the car hit him and the gut got out of the car and called 911 and they came and said he’s dead i cryed for six day strate it broke my heart that i lost my three famliy members i just fell down when i foun out. so have you ever lost someone like that you can tell me. i know what it fells like so email me back on this website and you can tell me if you have lost someone in your famliy.

Snakes are alright.Yes, they can be creapy but if you leave them alone,their go there own way. Just don’t handel the wrong ones. Remember, all snakes will bite to defend themselves. I was in Piedmont,Mo. when I encountered a snake about four feet long. I didn’t know if it was a bad snake or not. Being I had my grandson with me, I snapped a picture of it and went to yhe library to find out what kind of snake it was. There was two types of snakes that looked like it. One was a venomous and the other wasn’t. My point is that if you come across a snake, watch it but don’t mess with it. They can move very quick.
I love snakes. I catch them all the time in my yard.
Please ignore all previous comments, they are rants from mental midgets and most have nothing to do with this video. My five year old saw this video playing in the Albuquerque, NM rattle snake museum and was riveted. The bit we saw was well rounded, not scary, very straight forward, educational and very well produced. We tried to buy a gift-shop copy but they were sold out, bought Nature’s Reptile Alligators/Corocodiles/Turtles/Tortoises video instead, sight unseen because the snake one was so well produced.

I HAVE A YOUNG BALL PYTHON. MY WIFE HAS AN IGUANA, AND A BEARDED DRAGON, BUT HAS A LITTLE FEAR OF SNAKES. THE ONES WHO TALK BAD ABOUT THEM HAS THAT RIGHT, BUT THATS BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF KNOWING ABOUT THEM. SNAKES ON A PLANE HAD REAL SNAKES ON THERE, BUT THE ONES THAT LOOKED WEIRD WERE FAKE. OK I HVAE HAD EVERYTHING FROM A GREEN SNAKE UP TO A RETICULATED PYTHON. PEOPLE GIT BIT BECAUSE THE LACK EXPERIENCE ON HOW TO HANDLE THEM. WHEN THEIR BODIES GET COOL THEY FEEL LIKE A GAS HOSE, WHEN THEIR BODIES GET WARM IT CAN FEEL ALMOS FURY BUT THEY HAVE NO FURE. ONE PERSON SAID THEY ARE MEAN, BUT THEY CAN GET STRESSED JUST LIKE A FISH.

THEY SAY “THE BABY WILL GET SICK”. NOT TRUE CLEAN AND SANITIZE YOUR HANDS AND YOUR OK. Snakes are absolutely AMAZING! They are beautiful, skilled hunters, and range in a miriad of colors and sizes. It’s wise to keep your distance when encountering one in nature, but handling a docile snake like a ball python is so exciting! It will erase your fears of snakes in a snap. Or should I say, in a “Ssssssssnap” ;-)
