Homosexual practice much less marriage is clearly incompatible with Christian Scripture and church tradition. No wonder mainline Protestant churches have been losing membership for decades. Why bother with a church that is just another secular organization accomodating every trend in society. A life-long member of the United Methodist Church, I will leave if it abandons its current stand which is not sanctioning same-sex marriage.
