"Happily Ever After" by Jeanne K., Philadelphia |

Although I often take taxis in my hometown of Philadelphia, for some reason,
the taxi drivers in New York City seem more interesting. A year or so ago, I was given a ride by a taxidriver in NYC who told me this
story:
Several years ago this driver picked up a woman who didn't have enough money
for her fare. He gave her his address and said she could mail it to
him, but he didn't expect to hear from her again. Not only did she return
the money, but they began a correspondence, then a romance, and now they
are married. She works at a large bank in Wilmington and he commutes on the
weekends back to Delaware where they now live. True story.
