here's more to a knight than just armor. As a squire, your job is to know how to handle your knight's weapons. You will act as a knight's squire for six scenarios in the history of knights that will test your knowledge of knightly weapons to the hilt - literally.

Date: 1066

Place: Hastings, England

Situation Traveling with William of Normandy's forces, you will tomorrow engage King Harold's Anglo-Saxon foot soldiers and archers. The English have no mounted knights.

Arm Your Knight!
To protect your knight's legs from axe and sword blows delivered by the enemy infantry, you will arm him with:

Plate armor leg greaves
A 3-4 ft. high kite-shaped shield
Mail leggings
Hand-and-a-half thrusting sword
