1. What was your reaction when you first learned you had been chosen to be a Viking?
I only had a couple of days' notice so did not have much time to think about it. But I was up for it straight away.
2. What do you believe was your biggest triumph as a Viking?
The house raid on the Americans using our modern methods and planning but with Viking weapons. It really took them and the crew by surprise!
3. What was your lowest moment as a Viking?
When the English lost the sacking of the village due to a mix-up of which mat to put our looted items on. Also, not being able to clean my teeth as much as I would have liked.
4. Overall, how would you rate your performance as a Viking?
Overall,I believe that as a Viking my use of the weapons was good. But living the Viking life was not as hard for us as it would have been during Viking times.
5. If you had to choose between daily life as a police officer or as a Viking, which would you choose?
I would have to chose police officer. I like my modern day luxuries too much to give them up completely. Mind you, if there was ever the chance to do something like this for a longer period of time then I would jump at the chance.
6. Did your experience as a Viking live up to your expectations?
I thought that the producers would make it harder for us. They allowed us full breakfasts and other goodies that were not seen on film. However, I think we all had a good time during the filming.
