World Links: Sri Lankan Government Accused of Killing Over 1,000; Vigilantes Kill Students in Kenya

The Tamil Tiger rebels accuse the Sri Lankan government of killing over 1,000 citizens in one day of fighting. 

Three students and an 83-year-old man are the most recent victims of vigilantes tracking down and killing members of the outlawed Mungiki religious sect in Kenya.

Former Pakistani Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, expresses concern over a peace deal with Taliban militants in the Swat region.
