Hand dyed fabrics in random cut triangular shapes reminded me of shards of glass. I thought the colors were more muted than regular glass, thus Beach Glass.

Then I quilted in lots of bottles, added beaded "sand" and discovered there was an orange genie hiding in the fabric, so I had to give him a genie bottle.

Also added my collection of beach glass as embellishment. Machine pieced, hand quilted with perle cotton, hand beaded and embellished.
