The Producers

The members of the Documentary Institute have produced several documentaries for national and international distribution. Their works include Giving Up The Canal, Campaign for Cuba, Last Days of the Revolution and Deciding Who Dies. These documentaries have been distributed by PBS Video, and in the case of Deciding Who Dies, by PBS Adult Learning.

The Institute is comprised of Co-Directors Sandra Dickson and Churchill Roberts and Associate Directors Cindy Hill and Cara Pilson. In addition to producing documentaries, the members of the Institute also oversee a two-year graduate program in documentary production.

The Documentary Institute is housed in the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida.
