Former President Barack Obama will speak at a rally in Detroit on Friday night in support of Michigan Democrats.

Watch Obama speak at the Detroit rally at 7:30 p.m. ET Friday.

Appearing at Cass Tech High School, Obama will campaign for incumbent Sen. Debbie Stabenow and gubernatorial candidate Gretchen Whitmer, among others.

Earlier in the day, the former president made a stop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to support Sen. Tammy Baldwin and Tony Evers, a Democrat challenging Republican Gov. Scott Walker.

Obama was the target of one of the multiple suspicious packages intercepted this week and addressed to prominent Democrats and others. Federal officials announced Friday they arrested a suspect in connection with the incidents. The Detroit Free Press reported that the Secret Service would be tightening security in light of the bomb scare.
