Last week’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Taliban’s rapid takeover, and the ensuing death, chaos and confusion left many reeling. For some of the millions of U.S. service members who served there, the withdrawal has come with mixed feelings and worry for allies left behind. Rodger Pinto, who was deployed to Afghanistan, and is now a member advocate for the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), joins.
