Here’s a look at the top studio sessions, performances and recordings assembled by four public broadcasting stations around the nation. * WNYC New York assembled its top 10 “Soundcheck” studio sessions from the past year, including Adele’s performance of “Rolling in the Deep”. * Together with music industry insiders and artists, KQED’s Noise Pop Podcast team closes out 2011 with its favorite indie music tracks of the year. * WBEZ Chicago’s “Eight Forty-Eight” showcases a wide variety of music produced by local artists. Show producer Jason Marck chose four performances that stood out for him. * In the Twin Cities, MPR’s “The Current” had artists coming to the studio non-stop this year.
