WBEZ Chicago’s “Eight Forty-Eight” showcases a wide variety of music produced by local artists. Show producer Jason Marck chose four performances that stood out for him.

In the Twin Cities, MPR’s “The Current” had artists coming to the studio non-stop this year. Based on highest page traffic, “The Current” put together a list of favorite performances, with Atmosphere topping the list.
