The David-Apollo by Michelangelo, on loan from the Museo Nazionale del Bargello in Florence, Italy, is on display the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., the only exhibition in the United States of the sculpture. The David-Apollo was first displayed at the museum in 1949 and will be on view in the West Building’s Italian galleries through March 3, 2013.
