The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation’s BMW Guggenheim Lab opens Wednesday in New York. “Part think tank, part open-air forum, part community center….Its goal is to engage New Yorkers in discussions about urban living,” via the New York Times.

“Rembrandt and the Face of Jesus” debuts Wednesday at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The exhibition of more than 50 works by Rembrandt van Rijn and his pupils includes a group of oil paintings of Jesus that have not been seen together since they left Rembrandt’s Amsterdam studio in 1656, via the Associated Press.
