What students can do: Talk with your family members about eggflation. First, name all the uses of eggs (it may be way more than you think). Then let family members know that in New York, the average price for a dozen eggs increased by 57% in January compared to the same time a year ago, according to Datasembly. What is the percentage where you live? How could you find out? Do you think your family should cut down on buying eggs?  Why or why not? Brainstorm and discuss other solutions you and your family came up with to address this problem.
