His only notification was a letter from the unemployment office. My question is whether his man has a constitutional right to due process before his benefits can be denied? Shouldn’t he have the opportunity to appeal, go before a ALJ, and/or file suit? It seemed like a violation of a guaranteed property right. Paul Solman: He did appeal. The appeal was denied.
