In a report released Friday, the WHO confirmed the current death toll at 4,033 — all but nine of which were in the countries of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. The report broke down the death toll by country: Liberia: 2,316 Sierra Leone: 930 Guinea: 778 Nigeria: 8 United States: 1 In the seven countries that have a registered case of Ebola — Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Nigeria, Senegal, Spain and the United States — a total of 8,399 confirmed and probable cases have been reported to date.
