The next step in the health insurance reform process, President Barack Obama’s most important domestic agenda item, is for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to meld the Senate Finance bill with the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee bill.

The House of Representatives will also need to reconcile several different bills before lawmakers can vote on a final version on that side of the Congress.
