Aman Ali and Bassam Tariq visited 30 mosques in 30 states, starting in Alaska and finishing their tour Tuesday in New York City. Each day they wrote on a blog highlighting the diverse people they meet and the mosques they pray in. The Muslim America they encountered is a melting pot of nationalities, ethnicities and cultures in the people they met, including a Native American Muslim and a 100-year-old man who single-handedly built the first mosque in Nebraska.
