Apple’s much anticipated and discussed update of its operating system, iOS 7, was released for all iPhone users on Wednesday. Back in June, Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, Inc., called iOS 7 “the biggest change to iOS since the introduction of the iPhone,” as he introduced it to the world. It initially received a lot of criticism for the radical new look that was led by Jony Ive, the senior vice president of industrial design. Starting from the lock screen, icons of default apps, font to the notification center, the entire interface has gone under change to a more minimalist, flatter design. According to Techcrunch you’ll be getting additional ringtones and sounds as well. Aside from the new design, there are other new features that will come with iOS 7 — reorganized Camera Roll, improved Siri who learned to also pull information from Wikipedia, new iTunes radio, new photo effects for your camera, and a brand new feature called the ‘control panel’ you can access by swiping your finger up from the bottom of the screen.
