The two victims were high school students, and the suspect had been taken into custody, the Associated Press reported. The school was locked down and then evacuated Thursday morning, according to a message posted on San Juan County Sheriff’s Facebook page. People were advised to stay away from the area, and parents were first told to pick up their children at a nearby church, then later at the Aztec Police Department, and finally, at noon local time, at McGee Park, the Facebook messages said.
