Bowe Bergdahl has hired a well-known lawyer and military justice expert to represent him as the Army investigates how and why the soldier left his post in Afghanistan five years ago, before being captured by the Taliban. The Pentagon says Eugene R. Fidell, who teaches military justice at Yale Law School, has spoken with the Army officer handling the case, Maj. Gen. Kenneth R. Dahl. Bergdahl has completed his initial reintegration into the Army after his release May 31, when he was turned over to Army special forces in exchange for five Taliban detainees at the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, detention center. He is now assigned a desk job at U.S. Army North, at San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston in Texas. The Pentagon says Bergdahl has not met with Dahl. We're not going anywhere.
