The AP cited “a person with direct knowledge of the process.” That source also said a former Air Force Academy superintendent and a former NCAA executive who worked with the basketball tournament are expected to be on the 12-to-18-member committee. Other members of the panel are likely to include current athletic directors and former college athletic administrators and coaches, the AP reported.
