Winter Storm ‘Nemo’ to Bring Record Levels of Snow (and Disney References)

In what is supposed to be a storm for the history books, New England braces itself for a major winter storm. The National Weather Service is predicting the storm to hit the Northeast Friday night into early Saturday, with some areas expected to get more than two feet of snow.

When The Weather Channel deemed the Northeast’s latest storm name as “Nemo,” social media sites like Twitter and Instagram lit up instantly with puns and photos of Disney’s cuddly fish.

But don’t let the name fool you. Though the title connotes adorable images, the snow and strong wind gusts are likely to making traveling difficult, if not impossible. If you’re in the path of Nemo, we want to see how you’re preparing for and fairing the storm.
