HBO netted the most nominations of any network with 126. Netflix newcomer “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” a comedy about a woman who escapes from an underground doomsday cult to live in New York City, also got nominated for Outstanding Comedy, along with nominations for actors Jane Krakowski and Tituss Burgess, as well as Tina Fey for her guest appearance in the show she created. Viola Davis of “How to Get Away With Murder” and Taraji P. Henson of “Empire” were each nominated for best actress in a drama series. That award has yet to go to a black actress. Andy Samberg of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” will host the 67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, airing Sunday, Sept. 20, on FOX.
