Ciancia, 23, is charged with murder and other felony charges, the Associated Press reports, and could face the death penalty if convicted. Authorities believe that Ciancia, an unemployed motorcycle mechanic, went into LAX’s Terminal 3 on November 1 with the intent to kill TSA workers. At a security checkpoint, he removed a semi-automatic rifle from a duffel bag and opened fire, killing one TSA screener and wounding three others.
