Video: Divers rescue shipwrecked sailor from the floor of the Atlantic

In May 2013, divers were sent to the scene of the sunken tugboat to recover the bodies of those on board. They were met with surprise when one of the hands started moving.

Harrison Odjegba Okene was trapped 100 feet below the surface of the Atlantic ocean off the coast of Nigeria for 72 hours in the upended boat. Okene found a cabin on the sunken vessel with an air pocket and waited — with only his boxer shorts and a bottle of Coke — in hopes of being rescued before his oxygen ran out.

The rescue divers warmed Okene with hot water, gave him an oxygen mask and placed him in a decompression chamber before he was safely returned to the surface.
