Jealous began at the NAACP five years ago when he was 35 years old, making him the youngest person to lead the organization. While he cited a desire to spend more time with his family, Jealous also told USA TODAY that he also plans to create the “EMILY’s List for colored people,” a PAC that would fundraise for minority candidates running for office.
