NASA visualizes Earth’s possible climate future

NASA’s Center for Climate Simulation and Scientific Visualization Studio took the climate models from the Intergovernmental Panel’s latest report on Climate Change and turned it into an animation. The visualization depicts estimates on how temperature and precipitation patterns could change throughout the remainder of the 21st century, based on different scenarios of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.
