Xbox users who upload messages with excessive profane language could be banned from Xbox live, TechCrunch reports.

Microsfot’s Xbox team responded to complaints from users who were concerned their use of profanity during video conferencing calls on Skype could endanger their accounts. Microsoft explained that Skype interactions between users were unmonitored, but videos with “excess swearing” uploaded to Xbox One’s “Upload Studio” would violate the terms of service.

“We want a clean, safe and fun environment for all users. Excessive profanity as well as other Code of Conduct violations will be enforced upon and result in suspension of some or all privileges on Xbox Live. We remain committed to preserving and promoting a safe, secure and enjoyable experience for all of our Xbox Live members.”

The new Xbox One game console ships with an Xbox Kinect camera and microphone device, which monitors and responds to verbal and gesture commands from users. Microsoft has repeatedly assured users that the camera is not used to surveil users of the game system.
